Alan writes about how CBS missed a big opportunity to showcase their big hit (HIMYM of course). CBS has announced that “Criminal Minds” would be getting the coveted post Super Bowl airing slot. I thought and hoped that they would have put HIMYM in that spot to attract more viewers, but they didn’t. I am so tired of cop shows, detective shows, lawyer shows, etc. Why not put your leading comedy show right after the Super Bowl? People will have been drinking having a good time watching the game (or I guess a bad one if your team loses) and will be in the mood to laugh, not get all serious with “Criminal Minds.” I’m no marketing major but even I know that people who are drunk are not going to want to watch a cop drama!
