So today I’m over checking out Barney’s blog for his latest ramblings and as I’m reading along I get this pop-over ad that covers right where I am reading. What’s up with that? I’m already on CBS.com, they already have an ad at the top of the page, what’s up with having one of those annoying pop-over ads CBS? I hate these ads and quickly closed the page from pure anger. You can read Barney’s Blog over on CBS.com but I can’t tell you what it’s about because I didn’t finish. Come on CBS!

Before someone says it, I know that I can simply click “close” and the ad will go away but it was the principle of the matter. I don’t have a problem with ads on a site, see mine, but I do have a problem with pop-over ads that block the content of the site on a multi-million dollar company’s site.
