Jason stars in “Undeclared”

In honor of Jason’s birthday today I decided to post a little bit of info I found by chance the other day. For some reason unbeknown to me, I rented the TV show “Undeclared” from Netflix the other day and watched it. Boy was I surprised to see our number one pirate in a lead role. Jason Segel plays one of the lead actress’s whiny-way-too-emotional boyfriend on the show and does a great job of selling his role. The show itself is pretty lame, filled with bad actors/acting but Jason and one or two others really sell their role. I guess Jason was just born to play the sweet boyfriend type roles.
I know he was also in a show called “Freaks and Geeks” but I haven’t seen it yet. What else have you seen any of the HIMYM cast in? Got a screen capture? Send it in! ben (at) howimetyourblog (dot com).

Aside from the obvious:
Neil Patrick Harris was a voice actor on a few episodes of the Justice League Unlimited cartoon (as were extras (and, like Alyson Hannigan, Whedonverse Alums) Amy Acker, Morena Baccarin and Alexis Denisof).

I actually really liked Undeclared. Sort of the same humor as HIMYM i thought. I didnt realize he was also in Dead Man on Campus untill recently. I have to rent. I love that movie, and its been years. I am not even sure who he played in it.

Jason Segel (Marshall) is also really good in the movie Slackers, and going waaaaaay back he was in a movie called SLC Punk (with Matthew Lillard), and has a small but very funny role in Can’t Hardly Wait. I’ve always liked him whenever he shows up in a movie. You should definitely check out Freaks and Geeks.
I recently saw Josh Radnor (Ted) on something. I think it was Scary Movie or something. Oh, Not Another Teen Movie maybe.

Dude…Freeks and Geeks…classic. Watch it and be amazed at how a show so good can last only one season.

Dude….I’m stunned; indeed really mystified, that you didn’t love Undeclared. Another brilliant Judd Apatow creation that was far too short-lived. And Freaks and Geeks is utterly fantastic, as well, though very different from Undeclared…..
…*sigh* Why do all the best shows get canned?
