I was let down by this weeks show. I am watching season one on DVD right now. I compare to a really good CD, where you love listening to each song. Each show is Great in Season or at least Good.

This season has been the same so far. I would not say Columns is the first “bad” HIMYM, but its the first “so-so” one they did. It just didn’t seem like the same show to me for some reason.

I will be honesty I never cared for Ted’s boss. But at the same time I did notice a different director on this show. I think its the first time the women (I dont know her name) did not direct the episode. I hope they don’t start changing it up with directors now, because that could hurt the show overall.

I just thought this show came off as something you would see on any run of the mill vanilla sitcom. No real good catch phrases, and nothing to really to quote at all from the show.

Maybe, they got to far away from the usual subject matter that the show usually uses. Like dating, relationships, the bar scene and what not.

I am not being a hater, and again, it wasn’t bad, but it was just okay. Which is below par for a great show like this. Hopefully this up coming sweeps month will make me forget about it with what I would assume would be at least 4 new shows in a row.

Get back to Ted’s quest, realtionship ups and downs and enough about him at the workplace for awhile. I have a feeling that the cab/limo driver will come back for Monday Night Football. Not a spoiler, but just a hunch for some reason.

[...] This is sorta what we talked about on our latest fancast.  Last episode was a lot of Ted, and very little of the others, and sometimes all the stories just don’t come together.  I guess this can be seen as a blessing and a curse. It’s nice to see individual character developments, but sometimes seems too much like two independent stories just told in the same timeslot.  Am I wrong here? [...]
