TV Gal gets to hang on the set

Zap2it.com is running an article about “TV Gal” getting to hang out on the set of How I Met Your Mother.  The article is neat, but the one quote that got me thinking was:

My major complaint with “HIMYM” has been that its parts were greater than its whole. Love the jokes, love the characters but somehow the whole episode doesn’t always come together.

This is sorta what we talked about on our latest fancast.  Last episode was a lot of Ted, and very little of the others, and sometimes all the stories just don’t come together.  I guess this can be seen as a blessing and a curse. It’s nice to see individual character developments, but sometimes seems too much like two independent stories just told in the same timeslot.  Am I wrong here?

I dont really agree with that really. They don’t even always have an A and B story. Oddly ones she mentioned came together niceley. Swarley and Robin Sparkles.

I would love to be an extra on the show. Like at the bar
