New episode tonight “Lucky Penny”

I was a bit slack last week and we didn’t get a pre-cast up. We do however have a new episode this week. From CBS:

Monday, February 12, 8:00pm et/pt

Lucky Penny

When Ted picks up a “lucky” penny, a maelstrom of bad luck ensues, but picking up the penny may be the best thing that Ted has ever done.

Tell us what you think will happen tonight, and if you are seeing this after the episode airs… tell us what you thought! (remember spoilers suck).

Good episode tonight. Much better than last weeks’ ep. I loved Robin walking in on Marshall rubbing himself with vaseline. They should have continued with that scene. And Lily leading all the women to attack the car alarm jerk was awesome. Barney and the marathon was funny. Well, what happened to him on the train was. Nice to see the show pick up after a slow week.

Really? I thought last weeks was much better than this weeks. Don’t get me wrong tonights episode was funny but I liked Monday Night Football much better. What didn’t you like about last weeks episode?

I love the cliffhangers that HIMYM leaves its fans with. So the mother is from NY? Or she’s at least in NY? Whose wedding will be happening this season as promised by Carter and Craig? What is it with Ted and pennies? What is at the end of the subway where the trains turn around?! WHAT?!

And the “You are…Marshall!” bit was hilarious. Nice little nudge at the movie “We Are Marshall.”

It was the same penny he found in “The Scorpion and the Toad”!! Isn’t that awesome? Ben talked about it in the fancast.

I didn’t mean that I didn’t like it. It just wasn’t as good to me as “Swarley” or “Slap Bet” or “Worlds Greatest Coup;e”. Those were all time classics to me. S’all I’m saying.
