Open Letter to CBS
Dear CBS,
For two seasons now, I have enjoyed watching “How I Met Your Mother” every Monday night. I love the show so much that I have created a website dedicated to the show that includes episode notes, episode soundtracks, actor news, fan content, and a podcast (howimetyourblog.com). The only hindrance to my full enjoyment of the show is that it is not available to purchase on iTunes. Many of CBS’s other shows are available, on iTunes; why not HIMYM? Because the show has gathered a large following this last season, the next obvious step is to allow fans to purchase the show in iTunes. If made available on iTunes, we fans can watch HIMYM on our iPods and more easily share this great show with others around us. I humbly ask that you take my request into consideration and initiate the venture to carry “How I Met Your Mother” in the iTunes Store.
Sincerely,
Ben

FOUND IT!!
The creators also have their fingers crossed that “HIMYM” will turn up on iTunes soon (a deal to make that happen is in the works, Thomas says). The show’s ladykiller, Barney, has a blog on CBS.com, and a MySpace page featuring a music video from another character, Robin, in all her former glory as teen-pop princess “Robin Sparkles,” was a hit: Her video has been streamed more than 400,000 times since its debut
