Michael Ausiello annoys me
TVGuide’s Michael Ausiello is getting on my nerves! Guasima sent in this tip about Michael’s latest post. One of the questions went as follows:
Question: Do you know anything about whether How I Met Your Mother is returning next season?— UnaAusiello: Only that it’s still on the bubble. If it’s any comfort — and it probably isn’t — the season finale could easily function as a series finale (for reasons I won’t go into because not even I’m that much of a spoiler whore).
This is the guy who got us all riled up about HIMYM getting canceled and despite all the recent news about this not being true he continues to keep us on the edge of our seats. Either he has better info than the rest of the TV critics or he just likes blowing smoke up our arses. I’m voting for the latter.

Well I guess he has seen the final 3 season 2 shows. But honestly, we got Carter Bays saying he doesn’t think the show will be cancelled. So, I since it has been filmed already, i dont think he filmed a Series finale.
I guess we can assume Ted becomes interested in another girl in the next 3 shows?
HIMYM is moving in June when the season is over to 9:30, to make room for some new animated (or claymation show) that will be on at 8pm. I bet it is canceled in a less than a month. But, anyway the fact that they are keeping it on with reruns of the Class, Rules, Christine, or King to show on Monday nights is a good sign.
Maybe even a test to put it on in the highhorse time slot bettween Two and HAlf Men and CSI MIAMI. Granted ratings don’t mean as much in June, but still a good sign. Considering Chrstine has dropped in ratings since leaving that spot.
The rerun summer Monday line up is NEw Random show, ?, Two and Half Men, HIMYM, CSI MIAMI. King of Queens is going to be on Weds.night, and they will air two a week. Yeah, that show IS canceled, but its also pricy and high rated. CBS is just going to try to make some money back. Plus it will the first time the last season is aired in order and back to back with no stops I think. Should bejust enough shows to air through most of the summer.
But, yeah Ben this guy is a jerk for just not coming right out and saying what the deal is.

He can’t just come right out and say what the deal is. He’s not there to completely spoil shows, just to answer questions and hint at what’s to come.
Obviously, the series finale thing he’s talking about is Ted meeting another girl. Ted will either say it’s the mother or say something vague like “And that was when I saw her” so they can avoid introducing the mother thing way too soon.

They MYSPACE page is telling me not to worry about next season. USA Today talked about season 3 this weekend.

Keith, where do you see it on their myspace? I looked all over and can’t find it….
