It’s Official!!!
Horray!!! CBS has officially announce the 2007-2008 primetime schedule and How I Met Your Mother will be returning for a third season! Finally we all can relax and wait for season 3 to start next fall!
“On Monday, CBS adds a new series to television’s top rated comedy lineup. HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, with a young and loyal audience, returns at 8:00 PM, paired with the new genius comedy THE BIG BANG THEORY at 8:30 PM to form a young adult comedy block. From 9:00-10:00 PM, CBS returns television’s top comedy, TWO AND A HALF MEN, followed by the Number One new comedy, RULES OF ENGAGEMENT. At 10:00 PM, CSI: MIAMI, the night’s Number One scripted series, returns for its sixth season. ” [emphasis mine]
They sure do have the loyal part right… and probably the young too.

I’m thrilled though a little sad that The Class isn’t coming back. I thought it was a fun show…oh well. At least we’ll have more great Barney moments!
