Season 2 on Pre-Order
Recently announced, Season 2 is now available for pre-order from Amazon.com. It’s not scheduled for release until October 2nd, but you can still order it.
If you are going to order, doing so through the link in this post or the ad on the right will send a few bucks to your favorite HIMYM blog (ME!). I’ve used Amazon pre-order before and it’s great. I used it for the newest Harry Potter book and got mine the day of release and for the cheapest price Amazon ever offered it. Right now the DVD set will set you back $27 (USD) but should the price drop before October 2nd, they will give you the new cheaper price.

While I love the show to death, whoever created the cover art for the season 2 boxset swung and missed. It’s so tacky! The images of Barney and Marshall are from season 1. I like the images of Ted and Robin (yowza!) next to each other for this one, since it was so central to this past season.
But hey, all that matters is the content inside, right??? Just be nice to have something nice to look at while I’m in line at Target, waiting to buy it. Just sayin’…

No, Jon the images from Ted and barney are from a photoshot for season 3 actually all of them are. i dont like the cover either specially lily´s face

Amazon is now saying Season 2 is in widescreen. I’m not completely sure it isn’t a mistake, but it used to say fullscreen so it’s enough for me to get excited.
Does anyone know where I can get the Season 3 pics that they used in the cover? I’m surprised they did that, I just assumed they took pics from Seasons 1 and 2. I hope this means Lily will have red hair in Season 3, because I wasn’t a huge fan of the darker hair.

Sorry I dont mean to comment twice but Alyson Hannigan’s hair has actually gotten darker since that photoshoot. Here are some (not so great don’t care to much about the hair and the dress) pics from 7/22/07.

I think they only reason her hair looks red in the cover art is that the person who made it messed with the contrast. When I make fan art of her and I increase the contrast the red tint in her hair comes out.
