NYC Lawyer Captures Nessie!
If you look you look closely at the final scene in “We’re Not From Here”, where future Marshall is being busted for opening Lily’s death letter the writers have put in a little “easter egg“. In the newspaper clip behind Marshall reads “N.Y.C. Lawyer Captures Nessie.” I love these little easter eggs, it gives me something to look for after watching the episode ump-teen times. Aside from the “Suck it Lily” easter egg from last season, what other easter eggs have you seen in How I Met Your Mother.

I love freeze-frame gags but so few programs use them. Sure, its pretty common in animation, but thats it. I think Scrubs is the only other sitcom to use this sort of thing, that I’ve noticed so far.

I love easter eggs, like how the guy who stole Lily’s identity’s name was Joseph Adalian.
