So one of my favorite things about running howimetyourblog.com is seeing who is linking back to this site and reading what they have to say.  Most of the time it’s another How I Met Your Mother site that is just linking to all the HIMYM blogs.  But today I was greeted with a surprise.  A new blog is linking here titled “Be Awesome Instead“.  And the reason they are linking here is because of the Awesomness poster that is available with the Season 2 DVD set at Target.  Apparently BeAwesomeInstead (love that name, b.t.w.), has done a good bit of work on not only researching everything there is to know about the poster seen this season, but has also created wallpapers, and an actual copy of the poster.

There is a good bit of research involved in their post, and this was my favorite pararaph:

Finally… I feel the need to start a conspiracy theory. So what we know for sure is that the Awesomeness poster is first mentioned in Season 1 Episode 17 (Life Among the Gorillas) of HIMYM. And when it is mentioned Barney motions to either the back left corner of his office behind his desk. We also know that the poster makes it first “on screen” appearance in Season 3 Episode 1 (Wait For It…) (..stop waiting that was the name of the episode, sheesh) and at this time it is behind Barney’s desk to the right of the center of the room. So he just moved his posters around right? Wrong.
