Tonight is another all new episode titled, “Dowisetrepla”. From CBS:
When Lily and Marshall decide to buy an apartment, not only do they make every mistake in the book, but Marshall also discovers Lily’s dirty little financial secret when they apply for a loan.

I hate these kinds of episodes - of course I’ll watch it, but I can’t help but think that writers have problems finding something good when the plot involves “making every mistake in the book.” I guess other people like it, but it’s a drawback of sitcoms, in my honest opinion.
I can’t think of a HIMYM episode that’s done it quite yet - at least not without it being revealed only at the end…maybe it’ll be more like that instead of the “impending doom” feeling that I hate.

I especially disliked the gimmick employed throughout the episode with showing two reactions for every announcement: First the responsible response and then the actual irrational one. After the first one, you knew the trick was coming every time a character said anything remotely sane. One of my least favorite episodes ever.
