OMG!
I know that’s a lame title but really that’s all that is going through my mind right now. I just finished watching the latest episode “Sandcastles in the Sand”, and OMG! I’m so shocked I don’t even know where to start.
I guess those of us who have been wondering what the heck is up with Robin, can quit worrying that she doesn’t have much of a role anymore. I mean after her and Ted broke up, things have been fairly quiet on the Robin front, but not anymore.
I think they did another great job bringing in old story lines and creating knew ones. I don’t know any other show that is as good about this. I can only imagine where the story will go from here.
(I’m purposfully not revealing too much about the episode as I don’t want to ruin it for anyone. I’ll leave my thoughts on the BIG moment in the comments.)
Oh and be sure to check out the new Robin Sparkles video on MySpace.

I agree with some of the comments on the previous post. The kiss could either be really bad, or just a stupid one time thing. I really can’t see this becoming a major plot line and I’m not sure I would want it to. Is ‘Aunt’ Robin just the group slut? What kind of image is that of their aunt is that to present to future Ted’s kids?
I’m really hoping that it will fizzle out or something. What do you guys think?

I don’t care for the idea of Barney and Robin dating either.
Other than the kiss at the end and revealing the music video, the episode was fairly boring. I’d like the plot to move along a little bit. Just my personal opinion.

Well, judging by the episode summaries that are floating around, wikipedia for example, it looks like this storyline is going to be around for at least the next 2 episodes.

I think this is just signaling the end of robin, they said at the end of season 2 she went to lots of places etc, shes not staying with Barney. Think about how Ted is going to react to this? One of his close friends barney hooked up with his ex who Ted dedicated his life to for over a year. If you were Ted would you not want to kill them both over this? Knowing Barney he is going to rub it in teds face too in some way or some crazy theory. This is going to lead to Ted not talking to Barney and Robin is going to feel guilty over the whole thing, leading to her leaving for a while.
And remember “Nothing Good Happens after 2AM”

wow, that was a schocker, but i dont think that it’ll be a serious thing, first of all we ALL know barney’s attitude towards women and from robin’s point of view, sleeping with barney is nothing to brag about. i agree with anthony about barney teasing ted and rubbing it in his face, i can really see that happening. but i wouldn’t want that to lead to some sort of group break up.
also about HIMYM in general, i feel like their comeback after the writer’s strike was fairly weak. i don’t know wh, but i feel like the story lines are more stagnent, no crazy flash backs no multiple story lines in each episode….plus i used to laugh out loud, and now i dont, i still love the show to death but i really wish they could put some extra effort in writing them…
let’s hope that the show wont be circling the drain anytime soon.

Good call Anthony! Fayek, I have to disagree with you. Yes, there have been no crazy flashback, but the writing has been top notch. The 2 minute date, complete with cameo from Ranjit…that was very cool. “The Bracket” was also great writing…can’t wait to see how that pays off. (BTW, there is apparently a website called http://tedmosbyisnotajerk.com/, a reply to the one mentioned in the episode. Even though I am sure it is a fan’s site, I just can’t shake the idea that Carter and Craig are behind it) Bottom line, I think the show is going great.
On a side note, is there no post about this week’s ep, “The Goat”?
