I know I’m behind on the episode posts; My recent move has left me outta wack with my TV watching schedule.� However I did find a gem today, there is a report that the FCC has okayed nudity on TV as long as it’s Alyson Hannigan. See the video below for the whole report.

Why Haven’t Marshily Moved to ‘Dowisetrepla’?

While we wait on the writer’s strike to end, some people have been wondering about our favorite couple “Marshily” (yeah I just made that up) haven’t moved to their new apartment in ‘Dowisetrepla.’ In fact it seems to be a popular question these days. Both PopCandy and TVSquad are reporting they have contacted Carter and Craig to ask them and received the same response. Basically buying an apartment is a bit of a process and that it has been going on in the background. We can expect the topic to be revisited in future episodes, though no word on when that will be.

15 Stars and Their Favorite T-Shirts

Carala, sent me an email the other day about a site she found showing “15 Stars In Their Favorite T-Shirt“. I didn’t check it out until now, but it’s pretty cool. I know there are several of you who have mentioned how you like the t-shirts they wear on HIMYM and while I don’t recognize any of these from the show, it’s still pretty cool. Our friends Jason, Alyson, and Neil are in the slide show, each with a short description of why they like their shirt. I’m a huge rubber ducky fan (at one point I had 29 in my bathroom) so I’m especially fond of Alyson’s shirt. If anyone knows where I can get it let me know!

Marshall and Lily’s Wedding website

Thanks to commenter “cashewdani” for this tip. Apparently I missed that CBS has set up a website for Marshall and Lily’s honeymoon / wedding. You can find it at marshallandlilywedding.com. For the most part it is just pictures and videos from either episodes or the Comcast page I posted about a while ago.

I really like the recent trend in creating auxiliary websites for a show. They are nice little nuggets for those of us that obsess about a show, and they offer just another way to attract more viewers. Not to mention they make these characters seem just a little bit more real. This site, the slap bet count down, along with all the character’s myspace pages give us another way to observe/interact with the characters we only get to see for 30 minutes a week. Keep it up CBS!

What’s up with the hair Alyson?

So the updated Alyson Hannigan cast page on CBS has a new striking picture. I’ve always thought she was pretty cute, but damn! But I noticed the other night when she was on Conan that she has changed her hair style. I call it the “euro-trash” haircut (no offense to any of the readers in Europe). I’m just not a huge fan of the straight bangs. So I got to thinking. Why the change? Will we see this on the show or have they miraculously taped all the new episodes? If we see it, will they explain it in the plot or will she just show up with a new hairdo? And finally, if it is explained in the plot, did they have to write it in because AH wanted to get a cut, or did she cut it for the plot? All kinds of questions; I can’t wait for the season to begin!
