Josh does a good job in the interview and while we don’t really learn a ton about the show, we do learn that Marshall does a full frontal nudity in his new movie “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.”  I haven’t seen it, has anyone?

That’s right another How I Met Your Mother actor has joined the blogosphere. Josh has started up a blog over at tvguide.com and unlike the PR written “Barney Blog” this one is written by Josh himself.

When I started this blog I really hoped that not only would it let HIMYM fans get to share with each other what they like/dislike about the show, but it would also show CBS that there are real HIMYM fans out there. I also hoped that it would catch some of the actors/actresses ego surfing and they might be inspired to give us a glimpse behind the scenes. Whether this site had anything to do with Josh blogging or not, He is, and I am happy.

Here’s a quote from his first post:

Regular watchers of the show know that Robin has, or rather had, five dogs. This was a big plot point in the pilot. I didn’t tell Carter and Craig (cocreators, show-runners, gentlemen) that I was allergic to dogs until after I’d been cast. They said we’d work around it and if forced to choose between me and the dogs, I would win. Very sweet. So with some Claritin and some thorough vacuuming, we got through almost two seasons without a problem. Then Kourtney Kang went and wrote “Stuff,” where Ted learns that Robin’s five dogs were all given to her by ex-boyfriends. Upon learning this, all Ted can see when he looks at the dogs are five dudes who used to date his girlfriend. I referred to the guys who played the ex-boyfriends as “bark-ground.” And even though they seemed perfectly nice, I hated them all with a white-hot intensity. The reason for this is twofold: A) they were playing dogs and dogs make me sneeze, and B) they were playing my fake girlfriend’s fake ex-boyfriends, and I think I’m maybe a little more Method than I had realized.

I think the one interesting piece of information that I saw you had already touched on in your blog was the Super Bowl show. He said they made a special Super Bowl themed show in hopes they would show it the game. As you know they weren’t picked but he said it is a classic.

Overall it was a great experience for my wife and he was very nice.

Which begs the question, Will we get to see this “special Super Bowl themed show” eventually?  That’s all the How I Met Your Mother info I got from him as he said they spent most of the time talking about all the things they had in common (grew up in the same small town, etc…).

So in the last episode, Single Stigma, we get a rare glimpse in to a future that is not “future Ted” talking to his kids and telling this whole story. Don’t get me started on it is a flash back to a flash back of a flash forward, but we do get to see what is to come.

We see that Lilly and Marshall are married in less than a year. So that is good. No more heartbreaks (I assume). We also see that Ted and Robin are there together. While it doesn’t mean that they are together, together, but it could show that they aren’t with other people. The one thing I found interesting is that Robin looks a little heavier than usual. Or Not per-usus as Barney would say. Now I don’t want to be calling Cobie fat, it maybe that the dress wasn’t flattering, but what if she is pregnant? Though she does have a glass of champagne, which she hopefully wouldn’t have if she was pregnant. Just a thought I had. Anyone notice this or am I just crazy? What else did you all notice about the flash-whatever?
